Renewable energies will have space at Expodireto

A team of BSBIOS visited the board of directors of Cotrijal this Tuesday (24). Led by the CEO Erasmo Carlos Battistella, the group was welcomed by the chairman of Cotrijal, Nei César Mânica, and by the manager of Vegetable Production, Gelson Melo de Lima.

The main objective of the meeting was to strengthen the partnership between the cooperative and BSBIOS and to confirm that the theme "renewable energies" will make part of the 13rd Expodireto Cotrijal. BSBIOS will have its institutional stand for the sixth consecutive year in the fair and will receive visitors with information on biodiesel and crops diversification. According Battistella, the intention is to make renewable energies popular and show the actions developed in Brazil. "Besides the audience, in general, we will call children's attention with the kids' space. They will receive special information there", he explains.

Battistella also confirmed BSBIOS participation at the Family Agriculture Pavilion. "We believe in Expodireto Cotrijal and I see family agriculture as one of the main focus of the fair; this space is a great opportunity and a way of aggregating income to rural families", he said.

Besides BSBIOS, the Family Agriculture Pavilion counts on the support of Cotrijal, Emater and Fetag.

Improvement of Canola Crop

The second subject of the meeting was canola growth in the area of action of Cotrijal. Battistella asserts that productivity reached in the area of action of the cooperative is extremely important for BSBIOS and the partnership must continue for next crops. "At state level, the productivities reached in canola crops of Cotrijal are excellent. We wish to maintain these results, so we count on the cooperative support for the improvement of this crop together with its initial board".
